My Experience

With over 12 years of teaching experience at a prestigious independent school, I offer tailored tutoring for primary school children in Key Stages 1 & 2. My approach focuses on building confidence, enhancing core skills, and sparking a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

My enthusiasm for education is reflected in my teaching style. My creative approach to all subjects focuses on making the content relevant and as interesting as possible.
I encourage children to achieve goals they view as unobtainable. Young children have an insatiable appetite for learning, and I love to feed that enthusiasm and cultivate a growth-learning mind set. I like to challenge children with tasks and provide a range of stimulating activities that will extend their knowledge and develop their problem solving capabilities. Through my creative approach, I aim to develop learning opportunities where the children are unaware of the learning happening. Resilience, curiosity, flexibility, risk taking and self-motivation are all values I aim to nurture in the children I teach.

My approach is centred on praise and encouragement helping children to progress at their own level, making them feel confident and secure in their learning.

I work hard to create an inspiring space where the children can feel relaxed and happy and consequently, I believe, more able to reach their full potential.

My Qualifications

PGCE in Primary Education and QTS.

Degree in Sports Science.

A Levels in Geography, English Language and P.E.
