About Me

Hi, im Sue. I have been an ofsted registered childminder for over 20 year now, and i have really enjoyed it. My last inspection was rated a GOOD. I have attended various course recommended by ofsted, ie child protection, behaviour management, food hygene etc

My setting has a dedicated room for childminding filled with almost every resorce available , role play, dress up, free play, jigsaws/board sorters, garage and cars and of cause dolls and barbies { i had 3 girls of my own!!}
There are also educational resources for the pre-schoolers.
We make full use of the nearby woods and parks, trying to get out most days. For awful weather days I attend stay and play groups and toddler times at a soft play area.

For the babies i have a sleeping/quiet area and all equipment needed, safety checked and regulally replaced.

I have a 7 seater car which i use for my childminding that is well maintained so the children in my care dont have to suffer the british weather too much.

I provide a loving, caring, safe enviroment for my kiddies, many of whose parents return year after year with siblings or friends they have recommended me to.

Nearly all of the children I have cared for have come to me as babies and I have seen them through to school, some are even with me into junior school.

I can provide before and after school care and do drop off at Bleakhouse primary school. Other schools may be considered that are in my area.
