My Experience

I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years.

As a nanny I have responsibility for the children while the parents are at work and have a close working relationship with the parents when they are at home.
Duties include
Providing the children with supervision, nutritious meals and stimulating play within the home are daily tasks.
Constant discussion on the children's emotional, social and physical development maintains a strong relationship with the parents.
Consistent discipline with the parents wishes
High levels of praise and encouragement
Potty training
Children's safety both in the home and outside
Settling into new schools/nurseries
Light domestic chores
Support with homework
Roles include:
Nanny for children from new born to 17! and twins experience.
Pre school assistant
Experience within a nursery
Working as a nanny for a holiday company in the French Alps.
