My Summary
About Me
I am married with 3 children, 2 grown up boys 38 and 34 and a little girl of 21 (not so little but she still is to me :) - (wow that makes me feel old!!!) I also have 5 grandchildren - now that really does make me feel old - haha :))
My home is spacious, fun and welcoming to ALL, it is also a non-smoking zone.
I am registered with Ofsted as a Childminder in the Merton-Lower Morden area. My last Ofsted report (Oct 2024) was graded a GOOD - with potential to be outstanding.
I have attended lots of training courses which include First Aid, Child Protection, Signalong, Boys Leaning and most recently Supporting Children with Medical Needs and many others, all of which i have passed.
I intend to continue doing more courses to widen my knowledge in all that's offered to me and learn new things along the way.
I live very close to and drop-off and collect from Hatfeild school - but am also open to collect from other schools as long as it fits in with other pick-ups!!
I chose to become a childminder as i enjoy being around children and love watching them learn and grow.
I have a good network of other childminder colleges/friends and we regularly attend Toddler/Play Groups, Libraries, farms, the seaside, the discovery centre and lots more.
I also love being out and about, come sun, snow, rain, mud etc. I like to use the moto "there's no such thing as BAD weather, just inappropriate clothing"!! :))
We go vegetable & fruit picking, feeding ducks & squirrels, building camps in the wood, feeding the reindeer (one of my favourite) the list is endless.
I like to embrace and do craft ideas for all the different festivals and celebrations too from around the world i.e. Chinese new year, Diwali, St. George’s day, Australia Day all of them - I think it’s good for the children to learn about different cultures.
I also like to encourage the children to know about our community around us by visiting the local shops, pet groomers, fire station, our local lollipop lady and police warden - I could go on & on!!
On a regular basis i create a structured plan of what FUN we will be having in the following weeks. This plan is also used to make my observations on your child and how they are developing and learning within my care.
For the younger children (under 2 years old) i do a daily diary. I also like to do themes like Space, Under the Sea, Travel etc the children really enjoy this as they become spacemen, travel in rockets and get to make all kinds of wonderful things to do with our current theme.
I take lots of photo evidence of all the fun we have and then either email or what's app (you the parents) these photos which is lovely for you to receive while being at work, just a reassurance that your little one is being well looked after and is having fun. :))
My Experience
I would like to say that having had 3 children, ALL of which have gone through the dreaded TEENAGE years is in itself a lot of experience gained!!!!!!!! plus my 5 grandchildren :)
Just to add to that, since doing this job i have found it very rewarding to watch the children in my care blossom and grow and have received great references from parents past & present which makes me think i must be doing something right!!!

Tracey (or Sisi as my son calls her) is such a great childminder. She’s so flexible and accommodating as she tries to help as much as she can, besides that children in her care love her (and her family). Now that Danny is off to reception his little brother will join Tracey’s setting too :) We can’t recommend her enough, extremely happy with the care she provides and how lovely she (and her family) have been with Danny in all these 3+ years he’s been with her.

Tracey started looking after our daughter Jaymi from 10 months old three full days a week.
I knew as soon as I walked through the door that she was the one. Tracey shows a personal interest in each one of the children she looks after. She is incredibly passionate about what she does and creates a comfortable, fun, creative and safe home away from home.
Being South African we love the outdoors and are a very active family so I have always been so happy with all the indoor and outdoor activities Tracey organises everyday.
Jaymi loves the whole Warren family and has not once complained about going to Tracey's and is always in a very good mood and excited to show me what she has made or tell me what happened during the day when I pick her up. Its feels very reassuring and heart warming when your childminder makes you feel and your daughter feel that she is practically an extension of their family.
I couldn't have asked for a better carer. Tracey has been incredibly supportive and helpful during Jays growth and development. As a first time mum I would often ask for advice or assistance. I have always felt that we are on the same page when it comes to how we like to raise children which is always so reassuring.
I freelance from home and on the odd occasion I need to send Jaymi in for an extra day or pick her up a bit later. Tracey has always been incredibly accommodating and understanding and helps out whenever she can.
Unfortunately we have moved to a new area and Jaymi will be starting nursery school in September so we will be leaving Tracey with very very heavy hearts. I just wish I could pack up the Warren family and move them closer to our new home.
We will really miss Tracey and her family. I feel that she has played a crucial part of Jaymi's upbringing and has contributed to the beautiful natured, polite, friendly, comical little girl she is today.
