About Me
I live in south Tonbridge (TN9) a few minutes from Tonbridge train station
I have 3 children of my own who are 29, 26 & 24 & 1 Grandchild
We have Two Dogs, a Cat & Guinea pigs
I've been a Registered childminder since 1998
I offer a flexible home from home based childcare service to try to fit in with all your family childcare needs so you can get on with your working day without having to worry.
I offer childcare to children from Newborn to when children go off to Primary School.
I can also offer pay as you go Ad Hoc childcare if i have a spare space avaliable during the day for a few hours if you have a doctors/hospital/dentist appointment or want a child free shopping trip or just need some me time to recharge for a few hours.
I also offer evening babysitting in your own home.

Monday - Friday 7.45am - 6.00pm these hours may be negoiable if you need longer
8hrs Minimum a day

All year round

Evening babysitting is in your own home (min 3hr sit)
Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,Saturday starting from 6.30pm till late
Overnight care in your own home on Friday & Saturday nights 7pm - 9am (More hours if needed)

Graded Good at last ofsted inspection in March 2020
30yrs experience with children from new born to teens
I'm Enhanced CRB checked
Member of PACEY
Fully insured for childminding & babysitting.

I also offer local pickup if your at a wedding/family event & you'd like your child/ren brought home for the evening, put to bed & cared for until you get home so you can carry on celebrating without having to worry about sleepy/grumpy children.
I always arrange to meet parents & children for a chat before i start to babysit for a new family to discuss your needs.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour

7.45am - 6.00pm ( These hour may be negotiable)

I'm registered to take 3/4yr old 15hrs & 30hr Funded Hours (Please speak to me about this for more information on how I offer funding as it is currently very underfunded)
Also, the new funding for 2yr olds coming in April 2024 & the new 9month old funding from September 2024
Please note funding starts the term after child's birthday so depending on month child was born depends on which term funding will start.
Funding is for 38weeks a year.
I'm registered for the Tax free Childcare scheme (Please speak to me if you need any info on this)

Lyn looked after our son Louie 2 days a week from just 10 months until he turned two. She was 100% reliable and we never had any worries or problems when he was there.
As well as caring for him beautifully Lyn took Louie on some amazing adventures out, got him involved in exciting crafts and contributed much towards his learning and development, noting his milestones with us.
I can’t really praise her more highly and was so pleased Louie spent some of this important time in his life with Lyn.

I took my son Sid to Lyn over the summer. She is brilliant, her set up is incredible (as good as many nurseries!). She has an outdoor set up full of toys, activities, art projects. Every time I came to drop Sid off the other kids in her care would be doing a puppet show or making some amazing collage!
Lyn takes the kids to lots of different places and Sid always came back buzzing from being there.
Like one of the other reviews says; Lyn is a great find. If I lived in Tonbridge I would use her all the time.

Lyn is an amazing find. The first time we booked her to sit for our daughter (then 15 months or so, now almost 2 years old) we were nervous about leaving. Much to our delight, our she felt so at ease with Lyn that she instantly ignored us and started showing off her toys. We slipped out quietly for a much needed date night and had a lovely time, safe in the knowledge Lyn was a pro. We'll definitely use her services again - thanks, Lyn!

Excellent babysitting service. Always on time and I can leave my children with Lyn and know that they will have a great time and I never need to worry.
