Hi, I'm Jenny!
With over a decade of experience, I pride myself on offering a relaxed, "home from home" environment for your children.
What I offer:
- Care for ages 6 months – 11 years
- Pick-ups & drop-offs from Bramley Park Academy
- Full days & School Holidays covered
- A pet-friendly home (we have 2 pugs and a cat who love a cuddle!)

My Experience
I have been running my business for over ten years, and honestly, I love what I do! Over the last decade, I’ve gained a huge amount of practical experience caring for children from 6 months old all the way through to their primary school years.
I know that leaving your child with someone else is a big step. My years of experience mean that I am calm under pressure, adaptable to different routines, and skilled at settling in new children so they feel happy and secure quickly.
I am fully trained in First Aid and Safeguarding, and I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to help your little ones learn and develop through play—usually with a little help from the pugs!
My Qualifications
University: I have a degree in theology and education studies.
Open university: Introductory Management diploma (relating to educational sector)
Other certificates: Ofsted registered, Full paediatric first aid training, child minding registration. DBS checked.
I am also continually updating my CPD folder which involves optional courses on different aspects of childminding from safeguarding to food hygiene.
My Availability
My usual work hours are 7am-6pm Monday to Friday. I am however able to be flexible around these hours should the need arise.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I try to keep my fees as simple as possible.
Hourly rate 7am-6pm: £5 per hour
For a full days care - £40 per day
(Additional outside of these hours normal rates apply)
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Bramley Park Academy

We have been with Jenny for a little over two years since my son turned 10 months old and he has thrived in Jenny’s environment. She is very warm, nurturing and calm with all the children she has and it’s like a home away from home. Jenny is very professional and knowledgable around child development which is shown in the activities she puts on including arts and crafts, story time, going to the park, museum visits etc but also learning how to draw/write and fine motor skills with jigsaws and other smaller puzzles. She fosters excellent relationships between the children and is fair and consistent in her care. There is always an open channel for communication and her fees are extremely clear and reasonable. We could not recommend her enough to anyone looking for a childminder. My son comes home with stories about his day and his friends, with pictures and the occasional homemade craft. We trust Jenny wholeheartedly and know our daughter will thrive here also when she is old enough.
