About Me

Ofsted Registered childminder in Feltham, I offer a safe, friendly, caring and stimulating home environment.
I am 46 years old and have three children, the youngest is 7 years old.
We have a pet cat.
I love spending time with children - playing, having picnics, going on various outings for social interaction, music groups, experiencing nature and culture, reading, baking, doing crafts, yoga, dressing up, painting and much more. We are close to Hanworth Park and Crane park and we endeavour to play outside every day.
I am trained and experienced in children’s learning and development and plan play-based educational activities based on the needs, age and stage of each individual child, and provide resources to support your child's learning according to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. The learning is centred around 7 areas: communication and language; physical development; personal, social and emotional development; literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; expressive arts and design.
After-school and holiday care is all about having fun and incorporating children's interests.
My house is a welcoming home with a private garden and two dedicated rooms. Resources are updated and adapted to suit each unique child's needs.
Easy parking on the driveway. And there is a bus stop right opposite.
I have a low ratio of children, so can give more personal attention.
Every day I send updates on activities, food and sleep. I work in partnership with parents.
I grew up in Russia, got a degree in the UK and have lived here for 29 years. I speak English fluently, am into health and wellness, wellbeing, personal development and life-long learning. I enjoy cooking home-made meals, involving the children when appropriate.
My setting is Home Education friendly.
Above all, my home is a warm, secure, nurturing environment where each child will be treated with care and respect.
My Experience
25+ years childcare experience. Mum of three, I have worked as a nanny, babysitter and childminder, and volunteered at playgroups and schools.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered. DBS checked. Paediatric First Aid. CYPOP5 Home Based Childcare Service Level 3. Safeguarding Level 3.
Early Years Professional Development Programme (EYPDP).
Member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY).
My Availability
My usual hours are 9am till 5pm. Please message me times/days and I will see what I can do.

The best childminder we had. She’s looking after my tow girls. I trust her so much that the youngest went to her when she was only 5 months. Sadly older one will be leaving full time as she starts school in September.
Katia does lots of activities with kids. Going to library, soft play, playground, cooking and do lots of nice things in the garden. She won’t put your child in front on tv, that’s for sure. Always keeps you updated what they are up to.

Katya is really the best childminder, my 2 years old son loves her, she is very warm and communicative, they are doing plenty activities, I am really confident to leave my son with her, i truly recommend Katya if you need a childminder.

Katya's great. She takes care of my two daughters during the holiday. Katya keeps them busy all the time with different activities. Martina and Dayana are very happy when they go to her. Thank you Katya.

Katya has been looking after my 7 year old daughter after school. I feel extremely confident with leaving Hanna in Katya's care. She is very warm and caring person and Hanna is always very happy to stay with her.
I couldn’t ask for a better childminder for my daughter.

All 3 of my girls have enjoyed spending time with Katya, she takes care of them as if they are her own. My youngest daughter who is 3 always comes home with so many exciting things to tell me about her day. Katya has always been very flexible with timings as I am a mobile hairdresser and have no set work times. I would highly recommend Katya and We are all so glad we found her.

Im so glad we found Katya. My daughter has so much fun with her children and Katya provides really interesting, creative, things for them to do together. She loves the organic food Katya provides. For me, Katya provides a flexible service and is always willing to cater for my irregular hours. The girls have fun playing in the outside space too and Katya is good at planning day trips and outside activities.
