About Me
I am a self employed Ofsted registered nanny living in Illogan but happy to travel up to 30 miles. I have a grade A in CACHE Level 3 in Childcare and Education.
I also have a foundation degree in Childhood Education (3-8 years) where I gained a 2:1. I have also completed my top up year so have a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies (Level 6 qualification).
I am a caring, fun and enthusiastic individual with a wide range of experience with children from 0-11. I really enjoy working with children and seeing how they learn and develop. I have extensive knowledge of the EYFS and National Curriculum and also have been a key worker to several children at a preschool and a nursery so have knowledge of observations, learning journeys and how to support children’s behaviour, learning and development.
For the past 5 years I have worked solely as a nanny for several local families. This has included sole care looking after a newborn.
I am now OFSTED registered which allows me to provide tax free childcare.
I also have nanny insurance, my own car with car seats/pushchair and business insurance which enables me to take the children out and about to local attractions, toddler groups etc.
My Experience
For the last five years, I've worked solely as a nanny, caring for children ranging in age from newborns to eight years old. My responsibilities have encompassed a wide range of tasks, including bottle feeding, sterilisation, nappy changes, and engaging in activities such as woodland walks, arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play, visits to soft play areas, and outings to various attractions.
Prior to this, I had the chance to work in diverse environments including prep schools, primary schools, preschools, children's centres, and as a childminder.
I possess experience working with children who have special educational requirements.
I've also worked as a personal assistant and mother's helper, handling household tasks and providing care and entertainment for an 11-year-old daughter. During the lockdown period, I took on the additional responsibility of homeschooling her for several weeks.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies (Level 6).
I also hold a 2:1 Foundation Degree in Childhood Education (3-8 years).
I also hold a CACHE Level 3 diploma in childcare and education at a grade A.
I also hold certificates in level 3 paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safety, safeguarding children level 1 and 2, as well as certificates in FGM and Channel Prevent.
I also have 12 GCSE's at A*-C grade including:

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Depending on days/times but looking to charge a minimum of £15ph.
