About Me
Hi
I've been a registered childminder for 23 years and was a Nanny before that .
I live in Church Langley with my husband and two sons, aged 25 and 30 Who are both Teachers .
I have a fully equipped comfortable and warm playroom and a enclosed safe garden for the children to play in .
In addition I have use of a excellent facility at Church Langley playing fields comprising of a ex School building with toilet and kitchen facilities and a large area for the Children to play and Learn.
There is also a large playing field outside.
At the moment I pick up from Henry Moore School and Church Langley
I attend the local playgroups 3/4 days a week and try to go out somewhere to explore most days. I am graded as 'Good' with Ofsted and I can currently offer 2, 3, and 4 yr old funding for 30hrs of free childcare per week if you qualify for this .
My Experience
The children in my care are cared for in a happy and loving environment. I have looked after twins from 6 months old and a baby from 4 weeks old , all the children I have had in my care have been with me from a very young age until they no longer need me.
I also have special education needs experience.

Michele is such a nice child minder I requested her to keep my son on a very short notice not she only agreed but my son came very happy from her setting such an amazing childminder who knows how to deal with different children with different needs.

Michele is an amazing childminder. She is flexible when it comes to hours and tries to accommodate your needs whenever she can (i.e. extra hours or days) during term time and school holidays. She has made special trips to the school to pick up my kids up after clubs and school parties so that they could attend, going beyond the usual duties of a childminder. When we have had to work late or had problems with our trains Michele has been fantastic covering the kids at short notice. For a working family this "can do approach" is essential and she has been a lifesaver.
My kids love going to her and socialising with the other children within her setting, they always come home happy and excited talking about their day. She has fun activities for the kids to do (including a bouncy castle and slip and slide for the summer) and ensures that all children are involved and included.
My children have SEND needs (ADHD and ADD) which due to Michele's experience she has been able to cater for with ease. Michele is firm but fair and has a no-nonsense approach to childcare which I love. She deals with any issues with good humour and a smile. I would definitely recommend Michele to any parent looking for quality childcare.

Michele has been childminding my son Alex since January 2019. She looks after him in the school holidays, and when he was attending nursery in Potters Street, she made the necessary arrangement to assist me and really appreciate that.
I am extremely happy with the care Alex is receiving, and the great progress he has made whilst in Michele’s care. Michele’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Alex has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Michele’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders we have experienced. She is a true gem and treats the kids like her own, which is a great asset for me, which I am away working.
She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise, sand and water play, drawing and sticking, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks in the woods.
Michele is a great communicator.
I know that Alex feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.
She will provide healthy snacks/food. I am also aware that Michele ensures good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet.
All in all, I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Alex receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self-assured little boy.
I would absolutely recommend Michele as a great and reliable childminder.

My daughter has been with Michele for nearly 2 years and absolutely loves her. She is has an amazing bond with the children in her care and their parents .

My daughter was with Michelle for just under a year. She was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better child minder. My daughter loved it there. My job changed almost hourly some days and Michelle was able to accommodate my needs. It was a very sad day when we didn't need her any more.

We have been with Michele for over a year now and in that time she has looked after my two children. Put quite simply, she's amazing and has a great bond with them. Her home is their home and they feel so comfortable there as do I. She's the best and I would have no hesitation recommending her to anyone.
