My Experience

I have 21 years experience in childcare and I come from a nursery background.
I have nannied for children of all ages 0-10yrs. I have extensive experience with newborns and toddlers, pre-schoolers, multiples and siblings as well as caring for children with special educational needs.

Prior to having my first son I was a full time nanny for the same family for a year and a half and prior to that I was working for the 'Safeguarding Children Board' for 3 1/2 years as well as being a part time nanny for 2 of those years.

I can perform all duties that are required to take care of babies and children.

The maximum number of children I can care for at once is 5 and this is very common for me and doesn’t phase me at all (this number often includes my boys).

Child care is my passion and I enjoy every single aspect of it!

My Qualifications

I am a qualified child carer and hold both the NVQ 2 and 3 in 'Early Years Childcare and Education.'

Courses/Training attended:

2 Day Paediatric First Aid (2020) - updated every three years with a yearly half day refresher.

Safeguarding Child Protection Level 3 (2010)

I am also a fully qualified person-centred counsellor specialising in counselling children and young people.

My Availability

My availability changes from time to time so please get in touch to ask for my availability.

If you require a temporary/permanent nanny/school holiday cover/an adhoc babysitter (I am happy to do overnight stays) then I shall do my best to accommodate you.

I am happy to do school pick ups/drops offs and any length of childcare that is required (minimum of 2hrs) - e.g. If you require someone for 2 hrs so you can pop to the dentist etc.

I am happy to work term time only.

I am also available to provide other household duties if required.

I am happy to do a nanny share, looking after children from two different families.

Both of my sons are in school and I may need to take him/pick them up some days but alternative arrangements can usually be made if need be. They would both usually be with me most days in the school holidays; they are lovely little boys who are great helpers with the little ones and they totally understand what Mummy does as a job and have come to work with me since they were babies.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

£15.00 per hour, 6am - 12pm for 1-2 children
£17.00 per hour, 6am - 12pm for 3-4 children
£20.00 per hour 12pm - 6am
Overnight stay: Hourly rate plus £50 fee.

45p per mile milage during childcare hours.

I am self employed and invoice my clients at the end of the month except for babysitting duties.
