I am an ofsted registered childminder with 14 years experience. I live with my husband and 3 children.
With my qualification and experience as a mother and as an early years practitioner I put the principles of EYFS (early years foundation stage) into practice working in partnership with parents.
I realised from experience that children learn more in an enabling environment, thats why I have made my setting suitable for children basic educational needs putting all areas of their development into consideration while paying attention to details.
I recognize my responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children within the legal framework of children Act 1989 (as ammended) 2004.
I am a member of professional association for childcare and early years ( PACEY) I hold a current liability insurance certificate.
I am very confident with babies
I am a warm and friendly person naturally, i am very patient with children. I enjoy cooking and baking. I love taking children out to local parks, trips and places of interest working in partnership with parents
A qualified DBS vetted piano teacher come to my setting weekly to teach the children
My setting is home -away- from home.
