About Me
Hi, my name is Anna. I am a 40 year old, happily married and proud mum of a gorgeous 15 year old son...we also have a fur baby, an 18 month old Olde English Bulldogge.
I run Little Monsters Childcare, a home-based childcare setting situated in Chells Manor, Stevenage.
I run a very fun and friendly setting with activities and resources to suit abilities of all ages and stages.
I promote outdoor play and naturalistic play and make great use of my local parks and woodland area.
I am very flexible to accommodate parents needs and will endeavour to help and support parents in any way I can.
I have previously worked in a successful setting (for 4 years) and have been key worker to over 50 children during my time there.
I plan fun but educational activities for the children, following EYFS guidelines, whilst also supporting and preparing the children for their transition to school.
I also hold a current full, clean UK driving licence.
My Experience
I previously worked in a very successful home-based setting for 4 years. During my time at the setting I had been a key worker to over 50 children between birth - 11 years old.
I have experience of working with Special Needs children, children under child protection orders, as well as children with behavioural issues.
I had a supervisory role which involved planning and running activities, taking children on outings, and ensuring the paperwork for my children is up to date.
Over time I have gained confidence in liaising with parents and I am a firm believer in partnership with parents.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 Food Safety/Hygiene
Fully Insured
I am and will continue to build on my portfolio with courses to develop my knowledge in all areas of childcare.

Great childminder, my daughter loved going!
Overall
Anna looked after my 2 children for just over a year.
She is fantastic with the children, treating them like her own. They loved her!
From day one she put me at ease, keeping in contact throughout the day so I knew my girls were ok, although I was never in doubt.
The children took part in a variety of activities and outings in their time with Anna and at the end of their time with Anna she handed me a folder for each of the girls with pictures and write up from their time, beginning to end, which was lovely!
I would recommend Anna to anyone wanting a home from home learning environment for their children.

Anna looked after my little girl daisy from 3 months old I was a bit worried about leaving her at such a young age but Anna was amazing she reassured me and daisy absolutely loved her it was so lovely to know my little girl was being looked after while I wasn't there I would highly recommend Anna to others.

Anna at Little Monsters Childcare is just amazing with the children. She has over the last few years been just fantastic with all four of my children, often helping me out with very little notice. She has gone out of her way to be there when needed and my kids love her. They often come back from time with Anna full of tales from the fun trips she takes them on. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to any of my friends. xx
