53yr old mother of 4 children 3 boys one girl 33yrs 27yrs 22yrs 18yrs all very self sufficient, husband works shifts so is available during the day for our family
Owner of Artfull Splodgers Ofsted registered, award winning mobile crèche Co for Weddings and events past 20yrs.
Very fit, loving caring nature, sociable, love messy play and going to the park, Zoo etc and happy to work with any age group from birth up.I also have lots of twin and night Nanny experience.
I have worked in childcare for 35yrs whilst having my own family and owning my own business.
Due to the recession the last 4yrs I have gone back to being nanny part time. I am looking for nanny work part time Mon-Fri. Hrs to suit. Also available for evening babysitting week days or weekends within 20miles of Danbury.Also available as a night nanny at short notice to assist and give parents a few nights sleep. I am also self employed so this is reflected in my hourly rate.
I have had one day off in 4.5 yrs due to food poisoning so am very reliable I do not let anyone down I take my role very seriously as having had 4 children of my own I know a nanny is an important part of a family team.
My Experience
I have worked for many lovely families over the past 35yrs aswell as having my own family.
I have experience with new born up to teenagers and special needs.
Able to work in large or small families
I have worked as a night nanny for many families allowing parents to catch up on much needed sleep..
i have plenty of twin experience in daytime care and night nanny work .

NNEB, Enhanced CRB, first aid
Very good with lovely healthy home made meals.

My Availability
I am now available for permanent work starting asap Due to my present Nanny job coming to an end after 4 years.
I am available anytime Mon to Friday and weekends to start ASAP

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
Fees to be discussed depending on the hours you need and how far i would need to travel. I am self employed and registered for childcare vouchers. My rate reflects the tax I will pay as self employed so no employers tax or payroll for you to worry about.

Nikki has looked after our son from him being 1 month old doing nights on an adhoc basis. She has always been fantastic at just getting on with the job, whatever routine we were following on that particular day and has been available at short notice too. I would highly recommend.

Nikki has been a wonderful asset to our family. She has helped looking after my baby since she was 3 months old to give me a few hours to myself each week as we do not have family close-by. Nikki is trustworthy and my daughter really likes her. Nikki has been doing half days/ full days, babysitting and an overnight stay with us. I would highly recommend her as your child would be in safe hands.

I contacted Nikki when I was feeling overwhelmed as a new mum. She came round to see me really quickly and gave me some fabulous advice and I immediately felt better and more confident. When I was struggling a few weeks later I called her again and she was able to provide me with more support. Nikki also did a night nanny shift for us which gave me and my husband some much needed sleep! I'd highly recommend her to anyone.

Overall
Nikki came to us when our son was 2 weeks old and did night nannying. She was nothing short of excellent. On her first night she changed the way he slept and his bottles and he was immediately more settled. When we came down in the mornings, our older son (3 1/2) was already downstairs and Nikki was up playing trains or playing Playdoh with him and ready to give us a full run down of how the night had been. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nikki to anyone.

Overall
Nikki helped our family after the birth of our third child. We were a month into it and I was struggling with both boys and a new baby. I had been hesitant to hire a nanny but as soon as Nikki arrived I felt reassured (plus our baby was immediately putty in her hands!). Nikki was wonderful and the sole reason our family turned around and started to enjoy each other again. She was incredible with the new baby but more than that, she prioritized looking after me too, as well as ensured the older boys were always well cared for. She also streamlined our home so that by the time she left everything was working like clockwork. I cannot recommend Nikki highly enough. She has a huge wealth of experience, is very kind and very capable, and is also just a lovely person to have around. Very happy to give a verbal reference or answer any questions.
