My Summary
About Me
We are two qualified childminders who are both registered with ofsted, We offer a large intensive and exciting learning environment for your children both in our setting and through our outings. We have lots of activities for baking, messy play, painting, construction, numeracy and literacy incorporated into our weekly activities. We regularly visit libraries, clubs, museums, beach, parks ect.
The setting is a non-smoking household and we will look after children from birth up-to 5 years. The safety and welfare of your children is my main priority.
Are qualifications and training are all up to date. Myself and Kelly have been inspected and recieved good by ofsted in July 2021 and have the reports available to view on request. We work inline with the EYFS framework All meals and snacks are provided.
My Experience
I formerly trained as a registered sick childrens nurse at Alder Hey. I loved my job but since having my daughter the hours were to long to be away from her. I left nursing and started working as a childminder in 2015. Kelly has worked in a childminders setting since 2010 and because registered herself in 2016.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare (HBCA)
Awareness of child abuse and neglect
The prevent duty level two
Food hygiene and safety level two
First aid qualification
Safeguarding children
Delivering the EYFS course
Implementing Letters & Sounds
Play in the outdoors
Creative play
Kelly has
BA hons on Education and Early Years and well as all the above
These qualifications are inclusive but not all we have accumulated as we are continually undergoing continuous development and training.
My Availability
spaces available from April 2025 Kelly is on maternity leave till June 2025.
