About Me
My name is Rizwana Aftab. I am an experienced childminder with over 15 years of expertise in caring for and nurturing children in a safe and stimulating environment. I live in a non-smoking 4-bedroom house with a large garden, providing plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor activities. I am passionate about contributing to the development of children and offer a wide range of engaging and educational activities to support learning, writing, and reading.
As part of my service, I take children to the park, library, and Sure Start centers to promote social interaction and physical activity. I also offer overnight care and have highly flexible timings, including availability during school holidays, to accommodate the needs of working parents. Fresh, hot meals are provided daily, but parents are welcome to provide their own food if they prefer.
I am fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and German, which allows me to connect with children and families from diverse backgrounds. My home is a warm, welcoming space where children can feel secure, happy, and supported as they grow and learn. My Experience
I bring a wealth of experience to my role as a professional childminder. In addition to raising my own four children, I have cared for the children of friends, which has given me firsthand insight into the varying needs and developmental stages of children. Furthermore, I have 15 years of professional experience as a fully registered childminder, during which I have provided high-quality childcare to families from diverse backgrounds.
My expertise includes creating nurturing, stimulating, and safe environments where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. I have developed strong skills in organizing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, supporting early literacy and numeracy, and encouraging social interaction through group activities and outings.

My Qualifications
I did my "GSSE" in Germany . Then I did functional skills in "Maths and English ".
I attended Early years and childcare conference last year "Minds Matter."
I completed my "Paediatric first Aid course ".
I did also the" Understanding the safe handling of medication in health and social care level 2".
I attended the "Prevent (WRAP) "
"Advance safe gurading of children ".
My Availability
I am available during weekdays all day plus some weekends. I do school pick ups and drop off too.
