My Summary

My Experience

For me teaching and working with children has been my lifelong goal. I have therefore tried throughout various aspects of my life to gain experience and develop in areas that will benefit me in a teaching career. I have specifically applied to teaching assistant placements in a variety of schools including ones abroad, which have given me an even greater insight on teaching and working with children in general. In addition to engaging with the children in the classroom, I have also supported school trips and interacted with parents on numerous occasions. I have learnt the importance of staying patient and calm irrespective of the situation. From the different environments in which I have worked, I understand the importance of keeping the children engaged and adapting my style to fit with their individual needs. School is seen as an institution through which children learn, but during my placements, I have discovered that teaching is an environment in which everyone should be given the opportunity to develop, where all the participants irrespective of their role can encourage and educate one another.

I would love to work with children and by being given a position as a nanny/au pair it would really benefit me in the long run as well as being a very enjoyable experience :)

My Qualifications

9 GCSE's including English and Maths
3 ALEVELS - German,Art, Film Studies
2.1 degree in German from Cardiff University

My Availability

Whenever needed. I do have some sporting commitments that’s sometimes required me to be free early evenings.

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

depending on hours and living, around about £100 a week
