Run Mini Forest School activities in Exmouth.

Several years experience in offering family intervention of a practical nature and adapting to the needs of each family, enabling families/children to identify their specific areas of concern and developing their own action plans for dealing with difficult issues.

Offer a steadfast determination to sit alongside the child/families in the midst of a storm, till the waters calm down and with them develop a personal support plan, outlining how they can achieve their goals.  

With visits being regularly monitored and reviewed, allowing the child/family to reflect on achievements and plan for the future and empowering them to remain firm. 

0ffering emotional support (in a safe environment) with empathy, love, trust and caring, providing hope and a listening ear.  Ensuring a healthy friendship.  With appraisal at the forefront, to enable the individual to self-evaluate.

Assist, advice and signposting on money management. Budgeting and nutritional self care.

’Take a Break’, space for parents, ‘reset’ to catch up on housework, paperwork, or indulge in ‘self quality’ time.

Worked in several  nurseries as an early years practitioner.

I build positive professional relationships with children and young people who have complex needs and have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings, with the aim to inspire young people to achieve their goals.

As a1:1 Learning Mentor I enjoy the opportunity to work with students and show them how amazing learning can be as learning can take place anywhere the student is engaged, safe, motivated and encouraged to discover, and it is my role to show them. 


In my role as Educational Mentor I have delivered ‘planned learning’ through a range of creative and interest based activities.

I have an understanding of the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately.

I have detailed knowledge of how to work in a trauma informed way.

I follow the guidance in each person’s individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe.

I utilise a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs required to regulate the student.

I consider myself as patient, supportive and enthusiastic embracing the opportunity to use my creativity and initiative to provide accessible education content tailored to individual needs.

My free time I enjoy participating in :
