My Experience

I have been working as a nursery nurse for the past 15 years, I have qualifications that relates to childcare which enable me to be confident in providing the best level of care for children. My duties as a nursery nurse include

* Following and encouraging policies and procedures.
* Encouraging young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities
* Working in partnership with parents to make sure that all the children’s needs are met.
* Planning to meet the needs of individual children.
* Designing plans for child development and care, ensuring children are safe, happy, and stimulated, encouraging children's development through play, and stimulating children with special and sensory needs.
* Creating profiles for the children with observations, photo evidence and artwork.
* Encouraging the development of social awareness through interactions with other children
* Teaching children basic learning tools, such as recognising the alphabet or naming everyday objects
* Keeping up to date with early years learning developments
* Changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training.
* Keeping confidentiality

The skills and experience that I have gained from working as a nursery nurse will allow me to effectively support children's learning and development.

My Qualifications

Emergency Paediatric First Aid.
Early year childminder certificate
Pearson Edexcell Level 3 Diploma in Childcare
Level 2-Food Safety and Hygiene
Certificate for child development - Birth to Two Years
Certificate for Adult Child Interaction
Level 3 Safeguarding Children

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday from 8am morning till the evening and l also tailor my service to parents shift and rota.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour
