About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 20 years experience as a childcare professional and qualified with an NNEB Diploma in Childcare and Education.
Based in Halifax, west yorkshire, I provide high quality care for children from 6 weeks to 11 years old.
I provide high quality childcare in Sowerby Bridge area rated good by Ofsted.
We live in a recently renovated house with a large playroom with lots of toys and activities for children of all ages. The playroom is set out so children can select and develop their independence skills. We also have a large secure garden and encourage outdoor play with ride on cars, football net, balls and other small outdoor resources.
We are 2 minutes walk away from a local park with lots of childrens climbing equipment, swings, slides etc. The children love visiting the park most days.
We are close to the canal and a dam for trips in the local environment to feed the ducks and see the boats and barges.
We also like visiting the local library and reading a wide variety of books.
My Experience
My name is Donna and I’m 40 years old. I live with my fiancé, our 12 year old son Leo, a rabbit called Troelly and family dog Sheba.
Since leaving school I completed a full time 2 year course at Calderdale College studying childcare, in which I gained a Diploma in Childcare and Education level 3. I then went on to work in a Private day nursery for 11 years gaining lots of experience in working with a range of children from ages 6 weeks to 11 years.
Since having my son I decided to become a Childminder as I love working with children so completed a childminders registration course. I’ve now been childminding for 9 years.

I am available Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 6:00pm (I may be available outside of these hours with prior arrangement).

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Half Day (7:30am - 12:30pm or 1:00pm - 6:00pm) - £26 Full Day (7:30am - 6:00pm) - £48
9 month +, 2,3 and 4 year old funding sessions available
This includes all meals, drinks, outings, playgroup entry fees etc.
I may be able to provide child care outside of these hours, please contact me to discuss this
