About Me
Hi, my name is Claire I live in Loughton/Debden, with my husband Eddie, our two girls aged 12 and 6 years and our pet cat. Both my husband and I have been DBS checked.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a member of PACEY - the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years.
I offer childcare from our 3 bedroom home with purpose built playroom, I have a large garden which the children absolutely love and never want to come in from, last spring myself and the children created a small wild garden complete with bug house, the garden also has a play house, mud kitchen, sand, water and new decking area.
I aim to work in partnership with you to provide continuity of care in a safe, caring, home from home environment for your child.
I encourage explorative play and offer a variety of activities for each stage of your child’s development.
I am in an ideal location to the Debden Central Line Station.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 24 years now in various settings such as Day nurseries, Schools, Social care. I have gained a lot of experience however I still believe it is important to regularly update my skills and knowledge to keep up with best practise in this ever changing industry and I pride myself that I am always looking to improve so I can offer your family the best care and opportunities I can.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
My fees are inclusive of meals.
I offer breakfast and snacks for school age children.

Claire looked after my little girl from the age of one until she started reception class aged four. I felt nervous to leave my little one at first, but I couldn’t have asked for better hands to leave her in. Claire is warm, kind and always planned such lovely activities for the children to take part in. My daughter would often ask to go to Claire’s house on her day off! Claire has been such a big part of my daughter’s early years and has given her the best start in life, ready for school. I’ll be forever grateful, Claire is 5 stars!!!

Make the experience home from home in their lovely house. My children adore being with Claire and I often struggle to get them to leave and also my 3 year old daughter asks every day to go to their house. Claire is very understanding and knowledgeable, I’m usually very nervous of leaving my children because of their disabilities but she made me feel at ease straight away. Highly recommend Claire.
