About Me
About me:
I am a qualified, experienced primary school teacher and leader, who graduated as outstanding from UCL’s Institute of Education with a PGCE in Primary Education in 2017.
I am passionate about helping children to achieve and become the best learners they possibly can be. I promote independence, a love of learning and encourage curiosity in learners.
After working in my previous school for 8 years, I have learnt to work with many different types of children. I have experience teaching children who are learning English as an additional language, children with profound special educational needs, children with speech and language needs and also children with social or emotional needs.
About my specialisms:
After leading phonics for 2 years, I specialise in teaching early reading and writing. I can also offer expertise in Science, having been science lead at my previous school for 6 years. This school was also a specialist Maths No Problem school, and I am therefore competent teaching maths using the Singapore approach. If your child is approaching the Phonics Screening Check, Year 2 SATs or the Year 4 Times Tables test, I would be more than happy to help them.
