About Me
I have many years of experience as a childminder . I have 2 teenage children of my own. I have a pet free home . I feel it is a privilege to be able to look after and share the early years of a child's development with their family.
My Experience
I have been graded outstanding by Ofsted for my last 3 inspections . I have worked with babies and toddlers and pre school
Age children , I also have school age children before and after school. I use restorative practice to teach children empathy and to enable them to solve problems for themselves .I facilitate some groups in the local community and work closely with a network of likeminded local childminders. This provides the children with a social circle that embeds them in the community.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in home based childcare . I have a current 1st aid certificate . I hold a food hygiene rating of 5 and keep my knowledge up to date . I regularly update my safeguarding knowledge and have attended many courses on a variety of subjects such as baby brain development ,letters and sounds , boogie mites , healthy eating and many more
