About Me
My name is Mollie Prince, I am 23 years old and I am from Southampton.
I'm an outgoing person and enioy putting a smile on people's faces, I am quite easy going and relaxed but I am also focused on what I want or need.
I am the oldest child throughout the family and so have always had a knack for keeping children happy, entertained, teaching them new things and just generally caring for them.
I love to read, write, listen to music, get creative and bake, get stuck in to w good film or tv series and go out with my friends or family and just generally enjoy myself. I am told that I'm very polite, friendly and a lot of fun.
I’d be very glad to hear from anyone who’s in need of help.
Sadly I am unable to drive so pick ups and drop off to school aren’t something I’m able to do unless it’s particularly local to you.

My Experience
Childcare experience:
In November 2010, whilst at secondary school, I completed a 2 week work experience placement at Jack in the Box Nursery. My duties included teaching, feeding, playing and supervising the children. From this, I feel I gained confidence and sense of achievement. I learnt how important clear communication is, with the children, the staff and the parents. This is where my love of childcare really grew.
From December 2013 - January 2014 I worked as a classroom assistant at Ludlow primary school for some extra experience alongside attending college. Here, I feel I broadened myself with working with different age groups and with the different routines of the school. I also believe that I here I started to get a better grasp on what children really want and need and where I really decided I wanted to work with children.
In June 2014 I began my NVQ level 3 childcare (early years) at Yellow Dot Nursery, which I have thoroughly enjoyed! I passed in August 2015 and continued my career in childcare from there. Whilst at yellow dot, I have acquired my first aid (updated every 3 years) epipen and manual handling training (updated every year) safeguarding training (updated every few years) I have also had experience with children with SEN, working one on one with the children who require it. Through working with these children I have also acquired some knowledge of makaton signing and also have some knowledge and experience with SENCO.
In February 2017 I was promoted to senior nursery nurse and have enjoyed the extra responsibility but am now looking to take my career in a slightly new direction.
