My Requirements

My requirement is for a long term nanny to start ASAP. To be at my home when my son gets in from school at about 3pm(he is dropoed off by the school bus). I will get home early evening 6/6.30pm . It would be 3 afternoons a week on Monday, Tuesday/Wednesday. This would increase next year October 2018 to every afternoon. I would also like the occasional evening (baby sitting).

Im looking for a positive good natured, patient and competent person. The relevant childcare qualifications/ checks are expected. Preferably someone whow has well astablished experience with special needs (nannying), so you will be prepared / understanding of my son''s specific needs.

He require's lots of encouragement and reminding especially when doing tasks/activities. He does best with clear boundaries and simple instructions .He has certain sensitivities /preferences which I would explain.He really likes to be involved in different jobs around the home, such as setting, clearing the table, washing his dishes. I would like this interest to be supported in my absence as it builds on his independence and sense of achievement. Despite him having a speach delay which is improving, he often wants to express himself with words and small sentences.


Duties will include preperation of a meal or to reheat food I've already prepared. Changing him out of school clothes and nappy when required. He hasnt been able to toilet train yet, I want to try again so you may be part of that process. A few activities, reading books, going in the garden but some days he can be quite tired from school and likes to just watch children's TV.

Any extra's such as ironing /babysitting / light cleaning can be discussed.
