About Us
Stepping Stones day nursery has been established for 33 years and the nursery is based on working closely with parents to promote the well being of their children, by providing a warm and caring environment where the children start to think of the nursery as an extension of their home.
We have a structured approach to how we look after our children, because routine is very important. It gives children some control over their day and as a result of this they feel secure and therefore more confident and ready to enjoy nursery life and join in activities and learn.
We strive to give our children an understanding of respect for themselves and others. Children learn how to share, take turns and think about their friend's feelings and so care for each other.
At Stepping Stones we think of ourselves as one large family supporting and caring for each other....... children, parents. grandparents and staff alike.
