My Experience
I was an After school nanny for a 10 years old boy since March, 2021 till August during my furloughed office. I picked him up and travelled home with him. I encouraged him to play guitar, supervised his homework. I did his laundry, ironed it, cooked for him. We played tennis and cricket together. The family didn’t need me from September as their son started to go home by himself, they are happy to give reference and we still have a great relationship. I got redundant at my office job in August and started to work as an office administrator at a pharmaceutical company but I realised I miss being around children.
I was a private Nursery teacher in Parsons Green + after school nanny for my boss’ 3 children for 18 months and before then I worked as an after school nanny since October, 2015 till April, 2017. I looked after a 7 years old adorable girl.
I have done babysitting for families via Bubble app too.
I was a volunteer at a Puppet Mission for 2 years we performed for underprivileged children and I worked as a volunteer at a sport camp for 2 summers where I took care of 6 - 14 years old children.
