About Me
My name is Debbie and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I provide high quality and affordable childcare in a caring family environment with a wide range of fun & stimulating toys, books and equipment for all ages.
I believe in working in full cooperation with parents; welcoming ideas and encouraging parents to provide me with comments or watsapp or on handover. I run my setting professionally, attend training opportunities, respect confidentiality and keep organised records in accordance with current guidelines. I provide healthy well-balanced home cooked meals and snacks and encourage children to make healthy food choices.
I have clear policies and procedures and communicate these to parents. I am committed to providing a reliable service that parents can depend on and in which they can place their confidence. I am registered with Ofsted to care for up to a maximum of 6 under eights at any one time. As a Registered Childminder I can provide care for children from birth to twelve years old in a home environment. I am happy to take on any child within my registered numbers and will not discriminate against children or their families for reasons such as race, religion, sex or ability.
I have a clean driving license and am DBS checked with appropriate business insurance to enable me to provide a wide range of activities such as visits to parks toddler groups, the library, and softplays.
I am willing to drop off and pick up to and from Springmead primary and nursery and Hardings Preschool and will consider other settings on request.
My Experience
Prior to childminding, I worked for a Surrey based Charity; Disability Challengers, where I managed several play centres and organised play and leisure opportunities for disabled children. I decided to become a childminder to enable me to spend time as a 'mum at home' with my family and provide quality childcare for other families. I really enjoy spending time with children and play an active part in their development.

My Availability
Im available Tuesday to Friday 7.30 - 6pm term time only. Other days/times will be considered on request. I collect from Springmead primary and Hardings Preschool and will consider other places if it fits in.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 per hour, inclusive of activities. Meals are provided at a cost of £1 breakfast, £1.50 lunch and £2 dinner, or you can provide food if you prefer. All meals are home cooked, balanced and nutritious. Activities include Whipsnade zoo, softplay, parks, stay and play sessions, toddler groups, garden centres and other local attractions. Babysitting/overnight rates are £10/hour. Before school is £12 flat rate and after school is £25.
