Hi Parents,

I am a Ofsted Registered Childcare Provider with a Good Rating received in September 2022 and have over 30 years around children, 13 in a professional capacity holding a Level 3 Pediatric First Aid Certificate. I have a UK driving licence and own my 7 seater car with correct safety seats.

At present I have 2 spaces available for 6 months-8 years to start ASAP 8am-18.00 Mon-Thurs, although I do strongly advise for child/ren to have up to 4 weeks settling in time.
I do also have spaces on Fridays however do not currently have any other children on this day.

I accept 15-30 hours Merton funded
placements during term time only.

I also have vacancies for children aged 8 and over, please note I offer school aged children additional support .i.e reading, writing, math's, and homework set by school. Mostly however I will encourage the children to do age appropriate learning which is usually more advanced than the school homework. I do not encourage T.V, consoles or mobile phones, but rather in partnership with parents assist your child to build on their knowledge helping them reach new milestones. Once homework is complete the children are usually given a choice as to what they would like to do to relax i.e arts & crafts, construction, playing board games etc.

My home is very safe, secure, clean, hygienic, smoke /and vape free environment, suitable for babies & children of all ages. But do note I have 2 small chihuahuas although they are kept in a separate room away from the children…..

I live between Colliers Wood, South Wimbledon and Mitcham Borders only a 7 minute walk to Colliers Wood underground station/10 minutes to South Wimbledon or 12m to Morden Road Tramlink, and there are bus links leading to either Kingston, Wimbledon ,Raynes Park etc, or Tooting, Balham, Clapham.

For me to continue to run a successful Childcare service, my ethos is to work in complete partnership with you the parents enabling me to offer both consistency & structure ensuring your children are kept safe, secure and occupied at all times. I am incredibly creative, flexible, firm but fair, proactive, diligent, methodical, and able to “think outside the box?, but most importantly am fully able to have fun with children bringing myself down to their level, but knowing of course when to be the adult!!!

• Your Child is NOT kept indoors most of the day, but will still reap the same level of activity and meeting of other children as that of a nursery, this being met through attending various children's playgroups, going to the library weekly, and having fun at the park or farm.
• Your Child DOES have a choice and IS given a Voice that is HEARD!! enabling them to make informed decisions!!!
• I pride myself on offering Healthy Homemade Food that will include foods from around the world giving fresh fruit vegetables at every meal time, seldom using any processed foods.
• During Half Term your Child will benefit from planned educational day trips i.e Brockett Farm, Lavender Fields, Strawberry Picking, visiting various Museum's, Day Trips to Seasides etc
• You will receive regular photographic texts when your child has done something that I know you may wish to see
• Your Child has continuity of care (does not have to get used to new faces)
• I am not fixed on time yes the day is structured but NOT dictated by a clock!!!!!
• I can be more flexible to your requirements working from 8am-9pm earlier or later if needed
• Upon request I will happily offer contact details of current and previous parents who can give you a reference or answer any of your questions
• Many of the children have been referred by word of mouth and have remained in my care for up to 10 years old.
• I offer before and after school care to Singlegate
• I also offer babysitting services as my 17 year old daughter is DBS cleared and often babysits the children in my care on weekends (references available upon request)

My premises are a true real Home from Home experience for your little angels, the location being in the fabulous renowned Abbey Mills complex subsequently full of many outdoor activities right on my doorstep. From walking down the River Wandle and feeding the ducks or picking berries on our way through the woods teaching the children about the wonderful surrounding nature. Proceeding to walk down to Deen City Farm just in time to feed the animals their lunch, and continue to learn about the farm animals including, rabbits, ferrets, an owl, cows, sheep’s, goats, pigs, horses, llamas, hens, ducks, birds, fish, etc, We go to various playgroups within Merton such as Central Road, and attend the library once a week including Donald Hope, Wimbledon & Mitcham for Musical Mayhem & Story-time, Polka & Colour House Theatre, Tumble Tots YMCA, Wacky Warehouse ToddlerTime,. We enjoy walking to the various parks within the area including Dundonald Park, Morden Hall Park and the Croc Park so as you have read either way there’s lots of outdoors activities for the children to do right on my door step

Our indoors activities include, sand and water play, painting, cooking/baking, play dough, bricks, moon-sand, ICT, reading, writing, math's, role play, making clay models, learning about our bodies, the importance of recycling using lots of this kind of material to make various arts and crafts and doing science experiments. I have many toys, books and games from ages 6months-12years, making my home a perfect home for kids. As I truly believe that children should not only feel safe and secure with a child carer but also like they are truly at home
