Welcome to Southcote Childcare. My name is Aimee, I am 34 years old and live with my partner of 15 years and our daughters, Lily aged 12 and Olivia aged 4 years and We have two cats and one dog(Labrador)
I understand how difficult it can be for working parents both in terms of working hours and commitments and also the vital need to feel that children are safe, happy and well looked after whilst their parents are working. I enjoy working with children and now wish to provide care in my own home. I am therefore able to offer a reliable, home-from-home environment.
What I offer:

* Based in Southcote Square, Basildon.

* Hours: 7.30 a.m. – 6.30 p.m. with flexibility.
* 30 hours 3-4 year funding.

* Breakfast and after school club for Whitmore Primary.
* I follow the EYFS curriculum for under 5s.
* We do get out and about in the community, socialising with other children and childminders and visits include:
* Local Toddler Groups

* Park
* sea life centre
* nature walks
* A large garden with space for outdoor play and fully risk assessed toys which include Little Tikes cars, a slide, a trampoline and sand and water play.
* Downstairs cloakroom.
My Experience
I have been a nursery nurse for 14 years and during this time i have also been made up 2 room manager since having my children i also have experience of babysitting for children doing the drop offs and pick up from school/nursery and also looking after children in my own home. i am Ofsted registered childminder open 7:30 am till 6:00pm open all year except bank holidays.
Experience:
* 16 years experience in childcare.
* Level 3 in Childcare and Education
* Level 3 in home based childcare.
* Certificate in Safeguarding.
* Paediatric First Aid.
* Experienced with children of all ages.
* SEN (Special Educational Needs) Experience.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in childcare

NVQ 3 in hombased childcare
