Amazing Childminder

Truly lucky to have my daughter in this setting!! Ann is a fantastic childminder providing everything and more, always taking the children out to fun places, my daughter is 3 1/2 and already knows alphabet, counting over ten, knows all her colours! Ann is so kind and accommodating, especially when I’ve had to do early drop offs due to travelling for work. Ann and her family truly are my daughter’s second family, we adore Ann and her assistant Ruby. My daughter is the happiest, confident funniest little girl and I’m certain Ann’s care is a huge part of why!

Ann is the best childminder!

Ann has been looking after my son since he was 9 months old when I returned to work. I was worried that I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving him with anyone, but Ann and her assistant Ruby are so lovely and my son adores them and he loves being dropped off there. He gives Ann the biggest cuddle every morning (he’s not like that with many people!) and it’s so lovely to see their bond. After he started saying mama / dada, his third word was Ann!

I viewed a few nurseries but I decided I really wanted him to be with a childminder who will take him out to different places. Ann and Ruby are always out and about with the kids at playgroups, softplay, parks and sometimes they all go out for lunch. My son has the most fun every day and I love hearing what they get up to.

I honestly couldn’t wish for a nicer family to look after him. I can’t recommend Ann highly enough, she’s the most amazing childminder!

Truly Amazing Childminder

All three of my children have been looked after by Ann and we have been using her for 8 years now. My daughters 9 and my sons are 3 and 1. My kids all love Ann and her setting. They always go in without any drama which is reassuring and makes the morning drop off so less stressful for both them and myself.
Ann is so much more than just a childminder she’s an extension of the family. She’s supportive and helped with all aspects of parenting ie teething, weaning, potty training. I would truly be lost without her. Leaving my children knowing they have got an amazing day of adventures ahead and are safe and well looked after makes all the difference as a working parent.
Ann is always busy with the kids be it play group, trips to park, woods or softplay.
Ann’s assistant is amazing, they make a great team and look after the kids like they are their own.
Ann is truly amazing and one in a million.

Highly Recommend. Absolutely fantastic Childminde

I don’t know where to start with my reference there’s so much positivity to say but here goes!

We have 2 daughters our oldest is 8 and our youngest is recently 1.

Ann has been looking after our 2 daughters for over 7 years now – from baby to toddler/pre-school stage to after-school care. Ann has always been incredibly accommodating and flexible, and has been an absolute lifeline for us.

For us having a childminder was the best option; the flexibility, the smaller group size of children and the varied ages were all key highlights for us.

From the first meeting at Ann's I felt so relaxed. Ann made us feel so at ease answering all our questions, giving us advice and suggestions even in that first meeting.

Lily my oldest joined Ann's at 11 months old and Summer 9 Months old and it’s been the best 7.5 years for both Lily, Summer and us. From weaning, to walking, talking and potty training, Ann has been a huge help to our daughter's but also to us as parents.

Education and learning is weaved throughout most of the days (leaving some time for just pure play!) I love seeing all the arts and crafts the kids do relating to numbers, letters, observation, fine motor skills etc. Day trips to the zoo, farm and multiple parks and playgroups are such a highlight for the kids. Being able to get all the kids out no matter the weather is incredible as I some times struggle with 2!

Ann prepared my oldest daughter excellently for Nursery and school and provided age appropriate learning tasks based around numbers, letters and colours using everyday items around the house and engaging the children in play. And is now doing the same for Summer.

Aside from the educational benefits that Ann offers, she teaches table manners, social awareness and kindness to others. Ann also showers the children in love, kindness and attention whilst still maintaining rules and structure. 

Choosing suitable care for your children is a hard and anxiety inducing decision but I have no doubt that we made the right choice and I feel happy knowing my girls are getting the best possible care while I am at work. 

Ann is like an extension to our family, and we are so lucky to have such an amazing childminder.

One in a million :)

From the 1st meeting with Ann we knew she is the one we can trust with our little one. Her experience, approach,patience ,love and care for the kids is amazing. One of my little one first words was Ann and he loves her and her family so much.
She develops teaches and guide our son and she does this all with so much love and passion. She always there to answer questions give advice and I truly consider ourselves so lucky to have found her .

Fantastic Childminder

I can not recommend Ann enough. Ann has had my daughter full time and helped us with the school runs when my daughter started going to school together with school holidays. My daughter loves going to Ann’s and it’s like her second home. They are always doing fun activities or attending group sessions. We would be lost without Ann and thank her for all her help.

Ann has looked after my daughter since July 2017, I couldn’t believe how much my baby took to ann! Ann is like family to us and don’t know what we’d do without her!
Such a loving amazing lady! My daughter loves going to Ann’s 5 days a week, always goes out and does creative things, my daughter has learnt so much in such a small space of time! So brilliant to know that she is learning every day and being loved and looked after! I have already recommended ann to others and always will!
So lucky to have met ann!

Highly recommended!

My 7yr old has been with Ann for a number of years now and I am delighted I made the move. Ann is by nature such a warm and caring person and has really worked around my needs being a single parent. Ann offers the flexibility so many others could not. I don't know how I would have got through the last few years without her help with childcare.

I would highly recommend Ann as a childminder as she is reliable, caring, fair and doesn't treat childminding as a business but she genuinely cares for the children she looks after and they really do care for her.

It is an absolute joy to look after your son he is such a loving individual who brightens my day when I have him and really challenges my brain cells with the amount of knowledge he can retain and recall.

Highly Recommend - A* Service

I have now been with Ann for over 3 Years. My Daughter Lily started with Ann, when she was just 1 Years Old.

I have been extremely happy with the care Lily has received, and the great progress she has made whilst in Ann's care. Ann's home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Lily has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Ann's warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders.

She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know Lily has enjoyed sand and water play, drawing and sticking, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks in the woods, and the Playgroups she attends weekly.

Ann is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining Lily's confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home. When Lily steps outside her boundaries Anne responds with firm but kind discipline explaining what we would like to see in terms which she understands. When she is hurt or feeling under the weather I know that she feels happy to be comforted by Ann and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure her health and safety.

I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Lily receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping her develop into a confident and self assured little girl.

I would absolutely recommend Ann as a great and reliable childminder.

Ann is caring, friendly and has made sure our daughter was happy and settled every time we dropped her off.
Ann provides a large variety of activities and outings, she has a lovely outside space too, for children to use.
Ann has been so thoughtful in acknowledging special days like birthdays.
We get updates and photos of our daughter's activities during the day.
We would highly recommend Ann as a childcare provider.
