About Me
My name is Sarah Hutchinson, I have 5 children of my own 28 26, 19, 10 and 6.
I’m a nurturing, experienced, and Ofsted-registered childminder offering a caring, home-from-home setting in Paulton. I have been childminding for almost 10 years and absolutely love supporting children as they grow, learn, and thrive.
Children in my care are welcomed as part of my extended family. I take great pride in building strong, loving relationships with each child, creating a safe and nurturing space where they feel truly valued and at home.
My setting is welcoming, and fully equipped with a wide range of resources for all ages. I follow the EYFS framework and plan fun, engaging activities tailored to each child's interests and developmental stage. I also place a strong focus on the wider world—spending lots of time out and about in the community.
We regularly go on trips to local parks, libraries, playgroups, nature reserves, and farms. We regularly meet up with other local childminders and their children, giving the little ones plenty of opportunities to build friendships and develop their social skills. I also plan exciting day trips throughout the year to places like Longleat, soft play centres, and other child-friendly attractions. These real-world experiences are fantastic for children’s learning and social development, and they absolutely love our little adventures!

Paediatric First Aid certified
Safeguarding and Child Protection trained
Food Hygiene certification
Everyone over the age of 16 within my household has a Valid Enhanced DBS certificate

My opening hours are 7:30am - 5:30
