Our fantastic setting is based in Twickenham. Parents comment how quickly their children settle and look forward to spending their day here. I have been a registered childminder since 2006 when my own two children were very young. I absolutely love my job and can offer a completely safe, nurturing and fun place for your little one to grow and develop throughout their early years.
The setting has a substantial playroom separate from the main house as well as a dedicated undercover outdoor play area offering a continuous all-round outdoor learning environment. Learning and developmental activities are carefully considered and sequenced according to the needs or your child and we are very much a child-led setting. This enables us to focus on what your child enjoys doing from their own experiences within a completely nurturing safe environment. We are a lovely "home from home" environment with plenty of one to one care offering a professional and educational pedagogical approach with an emphasis on working in partnership with parents to ensure home learning is taken forward.
As part of our weekly curriculum, we attend various play sessions, music classes and soft plays each week and this has been a fantastic opportunity for the children to socialise outside the setting. Please do contact me if you would like to arrange a visit.
My Experience
I have over 18 years childminding experience and have continuously undertaken professional training to ensure I deliver a quality assured service. I completed my Early Years (EYFS) foundation degree in 2015 enabling me to specialise in babies and children under 5. Alongside childminding, I have also worked in various Childrens Centres across the borough and maintain Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training as part of my continual professional development. In March 2024 I qualified as an Early Years SENCO after completing a four month course with the Dept. For Education. I also participate in weekly online professional training to ensure I am delivering best practice throughout my setting. Safeguarding and the wellbeing of children remain our priority.

We have had the best experience with Gina, and feel so lucky to have met her and have her look after both our children. She has recently looked after my daughter from the age of one, and before that looked after my son from the age of 9 months.
Gina has a bright and sunny personality and is incredibly caring. All the children she looks after are clearly very happy at her setting, and she puts an enormous effort into the range of activities they get up to at the setting, and also takes them out to various play groups and soft plays so they can mix with wider groups of children.
Gina is very well respected in the local area, amongst other playgroup leaders and childminders. And several of them have told me we have 'one of the best'. We certainly think so!

My daughter started with Gina when she was 7 months old and settled in really well with her and the other children she was caring for. Activities were tailored to her development and each milestone she reached and Gina was able to support my daughter with getting prepared for reception. My little one attended 4 days a week and attended numerous playgroups which supported her social development where she mixed with many other children. My daughter was incredibly happy with Gina and loved the range of play based activities Gina would set up for them each day. We can’t recommend Gina enough - we will miss her!

Our little boy started with Gina when he was 9 months old and she has been looking after him 4 days a week for the past 18 months. We could not speak more highly of Gina. Our son is clearly very happy going to her setting, and the range of activities they do alongside playing is amazing. They are also out and about at playgroup and music group twice a week which means more socialising with other groups of children. We feel very fortunate to have found Gina, and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

Gina has been a brilliant childminder to our little one, who started with her when she was just 9 months. Our daughter took to Gina immediately and loved all the different activities and playgroups she was involved in. Gina has always cared for her with the utmost attention and followed our wishes regarding feeding and sleeping. Gina always has a smile ready and clearly loves the children she minds.
