About Me
Hello,
My name is Trina and I am an Ofsted approved childminder based in East Hunsbury. I have been working in the childcare sector since 2008 and have worked up from a volunteer in a preschool to Nursery Manager. I have a BA Early Childhood Studies (level 6) and my Early Years Professional Status (EYP, now Early Years Teacher status, EYT). Please contact me for details of any availability I may have.
I am happy to take children from birth to primary school year six and can accommodate two and three year old funding. I also offer school runs to and from Simon De Senlis Primary School with after school care.
Whilst I enjoyed my time as a Nursery Manager, my passion was working directly with the children and you. I love to see the children develop through play, exploration and reflection. This helps them reach their full potential while preparing them for the next step in their education.
As a parent you will receive daily feedback via photos, diaries and conversations. You will know their next steps for the term and see the progression your child is making through their learning journey and half yearly reports.
I work in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted guidance. I hold all relevant training such as paediatric first aid, food hygiene, and safeguarding which can be viewed on your visit to my setting.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I split the yearly amount into equal monthly payments which are payable on the 1st of the month.

Trina looked after my son when I made the dreaded return to work after maternity leave and I couldn’t have asked for better care for him! She clearly has a passion for her job as there were always different engaging and educational activities set up every time he went. He absolutely loved his time there and we really noticed just how much he was developing from her input. Her childcare space is well stocked with a variety of toys and is clean and functional. I would get daily updates on how he was and a communication book to tell me how he had eaten, napped etc. which was great to put my mind at ease. She would always do lovely activities on special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and the platinum jubilee etc to teach the children about this events.
Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Trina has such a love of children and a commitment to providing a high standard of childcare, it's a positive and happy environment. Our son is so happy there, made some special bonds with the other children, they have so much fun playing, learning, painting, cooking, drawing, football, exploring the list is endless.
She's been amazing and a very special part of our lives and our son idolises Trina X

Trina provides a safe, caring environment for children with lots of learning opportunities.
My son absolutely loved going to Trina, each day he did a different activity, his development was incredible. Trina creates a homely environment with lots of learning opportunities.
Trina is a wonderful, caring and positive person who puts the children she cares for first.
