About Me
Hi, my name is Becky, I am a healthy young woman, I have a son (Jaxson) who is 5 months. I live with my boyfriend Ben, who is a transport manager for a builders merchant, and our 3-year-old french bulldog called Barney, who greets anybody at the door with a bum wiggle and a toy - and he's amazing around children.
I am currently on Maternity leave, but in the process of getting myself, Ofsted registered to become a childminder for when I finish in August.
I live in a quiet housing estate, where there is a greenery area around the houses, with lots of trees, for ideal walks in the summer. I am also in the prime location of five primary schools and 5 nurseries.
I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, dancing, singing, baking, walking, photography, and spending time with my family - making memories and cherishing this time is my all-time favourite.
Some examples of activities I am looking forward to be organizing are play-doh, arts and crafts, baking, making music, sensory play, trips to the park/woods, library, reading, outdoor play, and puzzles.
Parents and families are welcome to have a look at my planning styles and how I encourage all types of play and learning with the age ranges in my care.
As I have followed the EYFS from past experiences, that is what I will be sticking to and be following to carry out my planning, and observations.
Since being on maternity, I have thought hard about my career and which roads I want to take, and so, here I am looking to further my career in childcare, my childhood dream job.
I currently hold a full DBS check and a full clean, driver's license.
I will not be offering cooked meals, but I will provide the snacks, and breakfast if necessary.
My Experience
**I am currently on maternity leave and in the process of becoming Ofsted registered by the time I finish in August.**
I studied child development in school as a GCSE, during my time in school, I spent a week in a local primary school for work experience, I then took the opportunity to follow my dreams and get myself into college and studied CACHE Diploma level three in child care and education, where I worked hands-on with children from 0- years up to 7 years of age. I currently have a five-month-old son, and I have grown up with younger children around me.
I have worked with all age ranges of individuals, from pre-nursery-aged children all the way through to elderly people.
In my current job, I work as a health care assistant in a hospital, where I provide confidentiality, correct paperwork, person-centred care, follow legislation and laws.
Before this, I worked as a health care assistant in a residential home working with dementia patients, where I got promoted to a team leader.
I have also worked in a nursery setting, as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, a cleaner and a receptionist in a hole, and as a waitress in two restaurants.

My opening hours are:
7.00 am -5.00 pm ( Monday - Friday )
Hours can be negotiated to suit your needs if needed and available. (I am open to being flexible, please discuss with me.)
Bank holidays I am closed.
I will give you 4 weeks notice for any holiday/ time off I take.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
£4.50 per hour (Monday - Friday) over 20-hour contracts.
Under 20 hour contracts £5 per hour.
