About Me
Hi my name is Penny, I have been married for 25 years. I have three daughters aged 24,21 and 17 We moved to Great Wakering 13 years ago for a more rural lifestyle. We have 1 dog and 2 cats. I have been an ofsted registered childminder since 2004. I am easy going and approachable, I am sociable and like to take the children out as much as possible. I regularly go to toddler groups with friends and other childminders in and around southend. I like to adopt a proactive attitude and try to keep with the children's routines.
I am required to follow the EYFS.
My Experience
I worked in a day nursery for a year, I was with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. I then became a nanny, I was with the same family for 7 years. I had 1 of the children from newborn. I then worked in a mother and baby unit for young mum's with problems. I then became a registered childminder. My eldest daughter has coeliac disease and my youngest daughter suffers with a nut allergy so i am used to dealing with strict dietary requirements. My youngest daughter also suffers from eczema so i am used to applying creams and being aware of contents in soaps etc. I have looked after disabled children in their own homes. I have looked after children with asthma and epilepsy. I can also use an epi-pen.

7am to 6.30pm but can be flexible
