My name’s Julie and I am Wonder Years childminding, OFSTED registered GOOD and enhanced DBS checked. I registered as a childminder over ten years ago, I have a wealth of experience with new borns, toddlers, pre schoolers and school aged children. My main aim is to ensure each child feels happy, secure and mentally stimulated through play whilst in my care. In my previous life, I was a full time professional working mum and I understand the importance of finding a childminder that will care for your child in a loving and compassionate way, taking into account your child’s unique characteristics and needs.
I have a dedicated playroom as well as a spacious home full of toys and resources. A safe enclosed garden with access to sand / water play and outdoor play equipment. My aim is to ensure all children feel safe and free to explore all their developmental needs through play. I have a wide selection of toys and resources to cover all the EYFS requirements, and regularly use outdoor play to enhance knowledge and understanding of the world.
For school wraparound children there are plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind after school, or to let off steam in the garden or get creative in the playroom using the masses of creative resources available.

I’m a mum of two fabulous girls that attend Southfields school for girls. We have a family dog, a gentle and affectionate Cockapoo. He does not shed hair (low allergen hair) and is well trained and very used to children. In the past he has helped children overcome their fear of dogs with his gentle and lovable nature. As well as give children the opportunity to learn how to behave around and understand dogs. He is very much an integral part of our family and all my minded children love him.

Having never used a childminder before, we were a little nervous about leaving our boys with one.
From day 1 Julie was absolutely brilliant, it felt like leaving our 1 year old with a relative rather than a childminder.
She also picked up our 4 year old from Barton Primary and he always looked forward to 'Julie days'.
She had loads of fun activities for them and the communication was brilliant. We were sent lots of photos of happy children and were given a daily diary of what they'd been upto and eaten.
Can't recommend her enough!

Julie is an absolute gem!
My son went to Julie's from 6 months old until he was 1.5yrs and now goes after school (pick up from cranford primary).
When my son was a baby, Julie was very accommodating to my working hours. My son absolutely flourished whilst in her care and I as a mum felt comforted knowing he was being looked after someone so warm and caring. A bonus that he adored her 2 daughters and dog! I was always given a verbal handover of the day, a dairy with everything recorded and also a scrap book full of photos of activities that they got up to and how it related my sons development :)
She now provides me with after school care for my son. I can not fault her at all! My son and Julie have such a lovely and caring relationship it's a pleasure to see everytime I pick him up, they get on so well. Julie has also supported him in getting over his fear of dogs and now adores Bryn (it didn't take long as Bryn is wonderful around children).
Overall...I would 100% recommend Julie to anyone that wants there child to be looked after in a warm lovely family environment. Communication is always spot on and she is very understand of people's needs.
