About Us
Lilliput Day Nursery, Rubery is at the top of Rubery Village, just off the A38 Rubery bypass with easy access to Bromsgrove, Catshill, Longbridge, Northfield and Birmingham. It has its own car park which is accessed via Whetty Lane.
Lilliput Day Nursery in Kings Heath is on the Alcester Road South, by the Skoda garage between Kings Heath and Maypole.
We opened Rubery’s door in June 2005 after extensively converting and refurbishing it to an extremely high standard taking it from a manufacturing warehouse and offices to a day nursery with a purpose built interior which is registered to take 50 children. The rooms are bright and spacious with plenty of room for children to move around freely and safely.
Our Kings Heath setting was opened in June 2010.
Our staff are qualified and experienced and all staff hold an up to date paediatric first aid certificate.
We have recently been inspected by Ofsted and are very proud to have achieved a good grading.
We have also been accredited with the award of Millies Mark. the gold standard in paediatric first aid. Which means we go above and beyond what is legally required of an early years setting.Millie's Mark is awarded as a special endorsement to childcare providers that go above and beyond these minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid, and also ensuring that everything learned during the course is kept alive and in the forefront of practitioners’ minds so that they are confident, ready and capable.
2018 has also been an exciting time for us as we have refurbished our nurseries and made thembrighter, fresher and more open plan in order for us to provide free flow and more natural and curious activities for our children.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £35.10 per morning
- Childcare from £34.10 per afternoon
- Childcare from £56.40 per day
- Childcare from £249.50 per week
- Childcare from £1,060.38 per month
We charge by the day, by the morning and afternoon sessions or a shorter school day. We also offer the 2, 3 and 4 year old government funding for either 15/30 hours a week over 38 weeks of the year. We are closed for all bank holidays and for one week at Christmas.
