About Me
Hi, my name is Francesca and I am 27 years old. I am a qualified nursery nurse and have a BA HONS in Early Childhood Studies. I also have a level 3 forest school qualification.
I currently work in a busy 45 place private day nursery. I am deputy manager, preschool room leader and forest school leader.
I have a passion for working with children. I find working with children to be extremely rewarding. I find it interesting and enjoy helping them to develop and grow in confidence and seeing them develop. I feel I have required skills like enthusiasm, skill and motivation through my job. Over the last 7 years I have successfully run a brownie unit for girls aged 7 – 11. I first started off helping out and later when on to run it. I have also spent the summer working in a Spanish nursery.
My Experience
Childcare qualified since 2009 where I started off in a rural preschool. I later went onto run the after chook club and holiday club.
Later on I moved to a busy nursey as a nursery nurse in the preschool room, a year later I was offered baby room leader and then I moved to become preschool room leader. In sep 2016 I moved to a closer nursery as a preschool room leader and in Dec 2016 I was promoted to deputy manager.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified nursery nurse.
I studies BTEC National Health Studies in A-Level and completed the course with a pass pass grade.
I have a BTEC National Certificate in Children’s Care Learning and Development. I completed the course with a merit distinction distinction grade.
BA HONS in Early Childhood Studies
Level 3 forest school qualification
I have a CRB.
Currently hold certificates in:
- Paediatric first aid
- Safe guarding
- Health and safety in the workplace
- food hygiene
And a range of additional courses.
My Availability
I currently work 7-6 Monday till friday with half a day off a week.
