About Me
Looking for a new lovely family who needs a child-led, energetic and outdoorsy nanny. Children are lots of fun! Working with them also gives me a sense of freedom I love when we visit places together while I'm showing them the world around us. I love seeing their faces when they discover something new! It's sometimes quite inspirational. :)
My Experience
As a home educating mum I have a 14-year-long first-hand childcare experience. As a nanny, carer and educator I also have an almost 10-year-long experience with a wide range of ages and abilities. In a nutshell: Since September 2019 I've been a nanny to now a 5-year-old boy with additional needs and a 9-year-old girl (they were 1 and 4 when I started), whom I would like to keep working with. Hence, my limited availability. Prior to that I worked with an 8-year-old boy with autistic traits for 5 months, looked after two home-educated 6-year-old twins for 9 months and for more than 3 years I was an occasional carer to 3- and 7-years-old boys. For a period of 2 years I was also providing after-school childcare to three 9-11 year old girls, and for 6 months I was a Saturday nanny to a 3-year old girl. I loved watching them all grow!
When younger I also worked as an au-pair in Switzerland for 2 years, and for 3 months I worked with primary school children in Ghana teaching them IT.

I'm originally from Slovakia and used to speak fluent French, German and Italian. Would be happy to brush up on those language skills for the right family who would need that.
