My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Charlotte, I have 25 years' experience of working with children, through local private nurseries, as a private nanny, locally, regionally and overseas, before progressing onto childminding, which I have done for the last 13 years. I hold an NNEB (level 3), Foundation Degree (Level 5) a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies (First Class) (Level 6) and recently a Master's Degree, qualified with Merit in Psychology through Wolverhampton University. I also have up to date paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, prevent training and DBS.
I currently live in Glascote, in a 3-bed home, with my two daughters, aged 12 and 14 years, as well as 4 child-friendly cats. We also have a small dog, a Cavalier King Charles named "Gus" who has been raised from a puppy amongst my minded children. Subsequently, our family is both child-centred and animal friendly, accumulating a relaxed, safe, friendly environment for all.
My aim:
My passion is to provide high quality care and education, for children within a relaxed home setting. By working from home, I am able to offer the small group interactions that research has suggested is essential for early language and emotional development. This environment also offers greater flexibility for being able to access the outdoors, through visits and trips out, essential for developing physical and social skills. Combined with the EYFS curriculum, this enables me the unique opportunity to get to know your child personally, ensuring your child feels valued and understood.
I accept Thinktwo funding, 3 & 4-year-old funding and Childcare Vouchers. Please feel free to get in touch if you require further details.

Amazing lady who always has the children’s best interests at heart. Her home is literally set up for the children, with activities to do for all the ages. Outdoorplay area in her back garden has a big trampoline and a climbing frame, balls and toys. She does different educational activities such as painting, colouring, and gets my son to read his school book, and helps with homework.
She’s communicates well to me when picking up my son.
Highly recommended 😁😁
My daughter was with Charlotte from 9 months to 3 years. She loved everyday and was very well cared for. Charlotte is amazing and welcomed my daughter into her home like a family member. Bella talks about Charlotte lots since leaving her care, showing the lasting impression Charlotte had on her. If I needed a child minder again, I would not hesitate to return to Charlotte.
Was the first non family member I ever trusted my son (and later sons) with. I don’t think Charlotte’s ‘butter toast’ will ever be beaten in status. My sons’ loved going! X
My two boys aged 9 and 8 have been going to Charlotte for some time and they have never been happier Charlotte is a very natural carer who understands childrens individual needs and is constantly going above and beyond to make sure she meets and exceeds their needs. I would absolutely recommend Charlotte to any parent with children of any ages we all love her...
