About Me
Hi, My name is Clare I'm an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted registered childminder.
I absolutely love working with children, it's so rewarding watching them grow and develop knowing you have played a part in it. I have over 20 years childcare experience and many qualifications including a foundation degree in Children's Play, Learning and Development.

I work alongside my daughter as my assistant
I'm a kind, calm, caring and friendly person but can be firm but fair when needed.
My Experience
I've worked in childcare for over 15 years, I started out as a parent helper in my child's pre-school and was soon employed by them. I've worked many roles including nursery nurse, one to one support worker and deputy manager. I have working knowledge of Ofsted requirements including the EYFS, in line with this my activities will be fun, educational, engaging and planned around your child's interests, with a strong focus of learning through play!
My Qualifications
I have many qualifications supporting my work with children including:
Foundation Degree in Children's Play Learning and Development
NVQ level 3 in child's play learning and development
First aid
Food hygiene
Safeguarding level 3
Makaton signing levels 1-3
I've also attended many additional training courses delivered by Suffolk Council

My daughter has been going to Clare for a few months now after being at a nursery setting before, she settled in quickly and tells me everytime 'ive had the best day ever', this is so reassuring to know your baby is in the best of acre and you've made the right choice for your child. I'd certainly recommend clare to anyone that needed childcare. My Daughter is 3 years old, and not only does she have the best of fun but she learns something every week too. A very happy mummy here!

I went and had a look around Clare's house where she child minds it was tidy and clean and lots of stuff for children to do , I was made to feel welcomed and I got all the information I needed , unfortunately I didn't go with Clare as I was moving from the area and found one closer, but I would recommended she really is a lovely caring women who I'm sure will take great care of your child xx

Clare is a professional and knowledgeable carer of my three children: ages two and a half year old twins and a four year old. The children love her. She plays games with them, sings songs, is versatile and very good when the children have their moments. Clare is so calm in all ways. I completely and unconditionally recommend her. She loves children.
