About Me

I am a confident and well-motivated person with excellent communication skills. I can relate to many different people because I have a fair and non-judgemental approach to life. Working as a community care worker has enabled me to manage stressful situations, organise daily calls and work both on my own initiative and within a team. My experiences at university have enabled me to manage deadlines, work within set guidelines and improved my organisational skills.

My Experience

I have previously been a sole charge nanny, I worked with the family until their youngest started school. I have a ten year old daughter and a six year old so. I have spent many years working within preschools and primary school. I have worked with children from reception through to year 6, so I am experienced in looking after children of all ages in both a professional and personal way.

I have a good knowledge of the EYFS, primary curriculum and of safeguarding.

I also spend some time every year voluntarily working in a children's club in France.

My Qualifications

I specialised in working with children with Special Educational Needs and have paediatric first aid and well as extra qualifications in Understanding Autism and Mental Health in Children and Young People.

I have a BSc(Hons) Crime and Investigative Studies.

My Availability

I am able to be fairly flexible and I can be available for some evening and weekend work.
