About Me
My name is Jo, I am an Ofsted registered Childminder and a mum of a grown up daughter and a little boy born in 2017. I live in west Dartford with my husband and children.
I offer a safe, warm, caring and secure home from home setting where children can have lots of fun. I am passionate about children and love watching them learn. I aim to enhance their development through a variety of fun and interesting activities. We will have lots of fun things to do from play and singing groups, park visits, library visits, fruit picking, messy play, cooking, zoos and many more.
My Experience
I have worked with children on and off over many years. I have worked as a Nursery Assistant for a Day Nursery in various different rooms from baby to preschool. I have also worked in Primary Schools as a Lunch Time Supervisor and then went on to be a Learning Support Assistant working one to one with a child with autism.
My Qualifications
I have an N.V.Q Level 2 in Children's Care and Learning Development and I have also completed an online Understanding Autistic Spectrum course. I am Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualified and I have completed a four day childminding course.
I regularly take part in online training courses and have recently completed a level 3 SENCO course.
