I believe I am a good combination of Mary Poppins and Nanny McPhee although I have yet to master the art of flying with an umbrella....How does she do that?!
I am firm yet fair, I treat all the children in my care with the love and respect as if they were my own.
I will help your child learn and develop in their own special way; giving them the guidance and support they need.
I myself am a keen swimmer, hiker and I am currently trying to become a runner....progress is slow.... very slow! I enjoy anything creative, reading and a good musical. I feel most of life's problem can be helped with by a little song and dance.

My Experience
I have been working with children for over 20 years; working in Sure Start Centres, nanny and in my current position at a nursery.
I have an NVQ3 in childcare, clear DBS, and driving licence.
I have a good knowledge of the EYFS and use these as a guideline for my daily activities.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ level 3 in Caring for Children and young people. This qualification is to work with birth to young people of 19 years old.

Alexis was an absolute godsend to me, i had 2 weeks until my wedding day and my family did not want to contribute to looking after my 3,2 and 1 year old during the day, she booked half a day off work at very short notice and came along and took care of my 3 little ones, 2 of which did not make it particularly easy for her as they do not attend nurserys or are often cared for by anyone other than myself or their father. She is an outstanding nanny and it is obvious when you see her with children that she has a vast experience with young children. She was completely at ease with the children, and knew exactly what to do when they were playng up or were bored. We hired her for the day so as we had minimal responsability for the children and she was so good we felt no pressure to be on the watch out for our little ones and put us completely at ease on the day.
We would thoroughly recomend her to everyone and are keeping her number for future use.
