About Me
I have 4 children of my own (19,15 and twins of 6) so I'm familiar with the stresses and strains of daily life, looking after children and running a family home!!!Alongside running a small before and after school club from my premises which services both the local Sabden schools I would like to offer a mothers help/post Partum doula/nanny service with parents who could benefit with some extra support with nursery/childcare services, help with light household chores/errand running and daily tasks.
My Experience
I have had 20 years experience working in childcare, I have been an ofsted registered childminder for 15 years which has led me to running my own before and after school club which has serviced both schools in the village for 6 years.I spent 6 years working as a TA in the village school which I thoroughly loved, working with childen as a class, and for many years on a one to one basis. After I had my twins I made the difficult choice not to return to school as I wanted to be with my children but needing some financial security i opened the school club which has been successful for many years.
My Qualifications
I studied sociology to degree level and then after the birth of my eldest daughter followed the childcare path which means that I am OFSED registered, I have a full criminal disclosure form, I am aware of issues regarding safeguarding childen and I hold a paediatric first aid certificate. Having worked in school I have certificates as a teaching assistant and as a teaching assistant working with children with learning difficulties.I have insurance for both my work and my car and hold a full uk drivers license.Raising 4 children of my own means I am a great multi tasker and have a wealth of experience in all aspects of childcare with children of all ages. As a mothers help service i offer a nurturing non judgemental service that aims to support parents emotionally and physically in the early days after birth, with young children and help with household/daily chores.I have many childminding references.
My Availability
As a mothers help my hours are flexible and I can be booked on an hourly basis or for block sessions between the hours of 9.30 and 2. The breakfast club runs from 7.15 til school drop off and the after school club runs from 3.30-6.

My Fees
I charge an hourly rate of £12.50 which takes into consideration petrol costs and tax/national insurance costs. Please contact me for block sessions as they will be offered at a reduced rate.please message me for rates at the school club.
