About Me
I have been a childminder now since 2002, level 3 qualified and am approved to offer the governments early years free education. .I work with my husband as assistant, have a purpose built playroom housing many toys and learning opportunities and children also have the use of the kitchen, enclosed garden and downstairs cloakroom. We go out on many activities such as parks, toddler groups, singing groups and soft play areas (these are currently suspended due to Covid, instead we have increased our activities at home such as arts/crafts and enjoy walks in the woods and local fields). I can pick up from Yattendon, Meath Green and Horley Infant School plus some Pre-schools. I have 2 dogs (spaniels ) who are extremley friendly, however a safety gate restricts his access to the playroom allowing young and nervous children safe space to play. He can also be kept out of kitchen and garden for periods of time if needbe.
My Experience
19 years experience as a mother and childminder.
I have also cared for children with additional special needs and special diets.
I have worked in partnership with portage workers, speech and language therapists, occupational therapy and physio therapists.
Before childminding I was a leader of Brownies and Rainbows (Girlguiding) for 10 + years
My partner joins me as assistant in May 2019 full time giving more flexibility and expertise on activities we can offer

CACHE Level 3 in childminding practice

Open hours 6.15am-6pm monday to friday please enquire for current availability within these times.
