Dear Parents

My name is Hannah Porter and I am 31 year old. I am an experienced childcare professional with 10 years background in a variety of roles and I have extensive childcare qualifications. I am fully qualified having gained an BA Honors Level 4 Childhood Studies that I completed at University of Greenwich and Level 5 BA Honors Education Studies and Level 6 BA Honors Education Studies, having now gained an overall of 2:1. I also have the following qualifications; NVQ and CACHE Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, Access to Education Studies, NVQ and BTEC Level 2 in Childcare, Learning and Development. I also have excellent references, an advanced CRB check and I am first aid trained. I am a caring, reliable, helpful childcare professional who love meeting new people of all ages and backgrounds in a professional and friendly manner. I am a quick learner and have the ability to manage a varied workload (which can be proven through my extensive childcare experience) with the skills to work as part of a team but to work on my own initiative as well. I find it working under a busy environment and under pressure enjoyable as well being a highly organised childcare professional. At all times I have a calm approach and understand that it is important to get down to child's eye level when talking to them as well as having open body language. I have an ability to cater for children's physical, educational, social and emotional needs by providing a warm, caring environment along with stimulating play and learning activities.


I am always cheerful and welcome all new days with a smile and provide a warm welcome with a lasting impression. My motto for life is smile at the world and the world will smile back. I believe this is important in everyday life but also in all childcare roles which would promote children to be happy and children will always feel as they can approach you. The reason why I have chosen a career in childcare is because I would like to make a difference to a child's life in a positive educational; it is an amazing feeling to feel as though I have made a difference to a young person's life. As a childcare professional I have a flexible attitude and am always committed to achieving set goals.
