About Me
hello. My name is Jodie I am a registered childminder, with over 16 years experience looking after children in nurseries and private nanny settings. I am a member of pacey and regulated by the CIW. I have full public liability insurance, a up to date DBS check and pediatric first aid certificate.
I live with my husband and our son who's 6 years old, we live In pentwyn area.
My daily routine can include Playgroups, Soft play, Parks and Library's. Other fun activity's would include attending museums and going on picnics, weather permitting. Inside the setting I like to develop children through activities such as arts and crafts, messy play, educational dressing up, Lego and play doh to name a few. I have lots of toys suitable for all ages and I aim to provide a happy, caring and homely environment.
My personality is bubbly and approachable. I thrive upon working with children and being an active part of their development.

My Experience
I have a wealth of experience with children. experience includes live in and live out nanny roles. I have experience in caring for all different ages of children, which includes effectively balancing care for a number of children with different ages at one given time. I have cared for children with disabilities.
Previous experience also includes working in nurseries with various roles and responsibilities. This has meant me having roles in all the various functions within the nurseries from which I have gained many skills and ideas from which i now use for my childcare profession.
I have been registered since 2015 and it is the best thing I have done. I really enjoy seeing the children growing and developing.

-Level 3 diploma for children's care, learning and development

Our daughter has been with Jodie for almost a year and she loves it!
She’s so excited to spend time at Jodie’s house and has so much fun, from the moment we first visited she felt at home.
We are completely confident in Jodie’s care and know that she looks after her brilliantly.
Jodie’s communication is great and we feel totally at ease talking to her about our daughters childcare.
We highly recommend her!

We absolutely love Jobie as my lil boy used to call her!
I definitely chose a childminder for the home away from home feel and he does experience it!
She so loving and accommodating even with my little one she doesn’t look after yet!
I love the structure she provides and know I have nothing to worry about, whilst he’s there.
My boy looks forward to going to Jodie’s even on his days off!

Jodie is one in a million, my little boy was with her from 8 months, till three (we've only left because I'm on maternity leave). He loves her, we love her and we'll be definitely using her again with the new little one. The activities Jodie did with our little boy were fab and really prepared him for school! She's so caring and attentive and we couldn't have asked for more!
