About Me
I am a dedicated and passionate educator committed to supporting students in their academic journey. As a new mother to a beautiful baby boy, I am currently offering online tutoring to provide flexible and effective learning support. I take great joy in helping children develop the knowledge and skills they need to excel, flourish, and thrive in all areas of life. My goal is to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
My Experience
I specialise in Key Stage 2 but tutor across all primary year groups, bringing extensive knowledge of the entire primary curriculum. With significant experience in Years 4, 5, and 6, I have a strong understanding of SATs preparation and the specific challenges of upper Key Stage 2. Currently, I work with Year 6 students, helping them grow academically and smoothly transition to secondary school. I also provide 11+ tuition, supporting students in achieving success in entrance exams.
As I am currently only offering online tutoring, I ensure all necessary resources are prepared in advance. My approach is fully tailored to your child’s needs, focusing on areas that require extra support or reinforcement through pre- and post-teaching strategies.

My Availability
As a new mother, I am currently offering online tutoring to provide flexible and effective learning support. However, if you are located very close to my home, I may be able to offer in-person sessions on a limited basis. Sharon is a very hard working tutor, who will go the extra mile to meet your child's need. Our son has built a trusting relationship and enjoys his weekly session to improve his maths and English but also preparing him for his non-verbal test.
She listens, asks and explains to our son during and after each session.

Sharon has been tutoring my daughter Amira for 4 months preparing her for her SATs this year.
Amira has shown such an improvement in her work over all and her confidence is improving week by week.
Both me and Amira’s teachers have seen such an improvement and her scores on test papers have doubled since.
Amira enjoys her tutoring lessons and always looks forward to going each week. 😊
