About Us
Portland Nurseries are a family-owned group of four day nurseries in Huddersfield with over 24 years’ experience in childcare.
Portland House Nursery was established in Lindley in 1991 and Harlequin, Holly Bank and Oakwood House nurseries were later opened in Edgerton. The group provides care for children aged nought to five-years-old and includes a Forest School and an after school and holiday club for children from aged four upwards.
Their mission is to deliver the highest quality of care and education by providing a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment, where each child is individually supported to develop to their full potential.
The group has been recognised for it's delivery of quality childcare and high levels of parent satisfaction.
An experienced team of highly trained and qualified early years professionals support children and allow them to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience and receive the very best start in life giving them the confidence and skills they need start school. As children do, each nursery has its own unique and individual character to meet all needs.
